This webinar recording starts with a brief overview of the entire undergraduate application process then focuses on the process of submitting your official transcripts to ASU.
Your official transcripts are academic credentials from every high school, college or university, or technical school you’ve attended. They are issued by the registrar of that institution.
Official transcripts show the courses you took, grades you earned, and certificates or degrees you were awarded. Domestic high school transcripts must show courses, grades, GPA and your date of graduation.
Official transcripts must bear the original raised or colored seal of the institution and the signature of your institution’s registrar, academic official or recognized international organization.
You’re required to submit official transcripts from every institution you’ve attended.
However, transfer applicants with 24 or more transferable semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university, and who will be 22 or older by the start of the requested semester of admission, are not required to submit a high school transcript for admission.
There are several ways to submit your transcripts to ASU. We recommend doing this step after submitting your application.
Official transcripts can be sent to ASU’s admission services by mail or shipping service (such as UPS, FedEx, DHL), or an approved secured transcript service.
Transcripts sent via email may be accepted if sent directly from an authorized school official at the issuing institution, or from a third-party verified source, to ASU at transcripts@asu.edu. An emailed transcript will not be accepted as official if ASU is unable to verify the sender is from the issuing institution. Official transcripts can be delivered by hand but will only be accepted if they’re sealed in the original envelope provided by the community college or university and bear the university seal and the signature of the Registrar of the issuing institution. Domestic high school transcripts delivered by hand will only be accepted if they are sealed in the original envelope provided by the high school.
Official transcripts can’t be faxed. ASU considers transcripts sent in this way to be unofficial.

Secure transcript services are companies that electronically transmit your official transcripts from one institution to another. Visit ASU’s transcripts information page for a full list of authorized transcript services.
You’ll need to contact each institution directly and request they send your official transcripts to Arizona State University.
We highly recommend saving all email correspondence between you and each institution in case your transcripts can’t be located by ASU after they’re sent.
ACT and/or SAT scores may be required for some majors and can be helpful in the general application process.
ACT or SAT scores may also be required for merit scholarship consideration and ASU course placement.
Your GED or high school equivalent information can be sent to ASU similar to the way other transcripts are sent.

If you report the school/institution on your ASU application, it should populate a transcript hold in your My ASU Portal with the school/institution name. Once the transcript is on file with ASU, the transcript's hold is removed within a few business days. If you notice the transcript’s hold has not been removed, please contact your annulment coach directly and make a request to have a transcript matched to the student's application if we have it on file.
If you request them electronically, you may also get an email confirmation from the service you used informing you your transcripts are received/retrieved/downloaded by ASU.

You’d need to provide whatever transcripts are necessary to be admitted into the program of your choice, but not for the fellowship itself.
When transcripts are sent electronically, it takes about two to four weeks to process. When sent by mail, it takes about six weeks for the transcripts to reach ASU and have the hold removed.
